CourseStorm Welcomes Greg Shula and Nicholas Riegel
We’re excited to start off this year with two new members of the CourseStorm team, Marketing Associate, Greg Shula, and Quality Assurance Analyst Nicholas Riegel.
“We are excited to expand our team with the addition of Nicholas and Greg in these new roles. Together, they will help us grow our marketing and maintain our rigorous product quality standards as we continue to scale to meet the needs of educational organizations across the US,” said Brian Rahill, CourseStorm CEO.
Greg Shula joins the Marketing Team in the role of Marketing Associate.
“I am excited to join a Maine based company that can be so impactful with connecting organizations with those seeking educational opportunities. Being a life-long learner is a lifestyle that CourseStorm promotes and facilitates for everyone and I am thrilled to be a part of it,” Greg said.
“We looked high and low for an excellent fit for the team, and I’m pleased to have the opportunity to welcome Greg. His analytical background and growth mindset are just two of the huge benefits he brings to CourseStorm,” said Nic Lyons, Marketing Manager.
In his role at CourseStorm, Greg is responsible for administrative tasks, maintaining the health of marketing campaigns, and managing social channels and blog content posting. Before joining CourseStorm, Greg served as an analyst at Seafax in Maine and was previously a Digital Marketing Analyst at Getfused in Boston.
When he’s not analyzing, Greg enjoys photography, running, hiking (including several trips up Mt. Katahdin and Mt. Washington), and time in the great outdoors. He plays guitar and ukulele, and is a fan of podcasts (particularly Car Talk), Marvel’s Avengers movies, and college football. He lives in Brunswick with his wife, young son, and their dog.
Nicholas P. Riegel joins the Product Team as Quality Assurance Analyst
“I’m excited to be on the CourseStorm team because it allows me to combine my passions for education and technology to improve the experience for educational institutions, teaching and students,” Nicholas said.
In his role at CourseStorm, Nicholas will work with engineers on the Product Team to ensure that all existing features and all new code meet CourseStorm’s high quality standards. Before joining CourseStorm, Nicholas was a teacher and self-taught coder.
“We’re excited to welcome Nicholas to our growing engineering team at CourseStorm. We continue to believe that the best customer experiences are created by a team of passionate and growth-minded people, just like Nicholas, and we are thankful that he lends his talents to that mission,” said Matt James, CourseStorm COO.
In addition to technology, Nicholas, who lives on Bailey Island, likes outdoor activities and has a special love for hiking and exploring the woods and coast of Maine.
