How long does it take to get started with CourseStorm?

You decide! Some programs accept registrations in a couple of days and others choose to take it a little slower. CourseStorm is intuitively designed and easy to use, and you can start using CourseStorm as soon as you list your classes and are approved for payouts. Your onboarding training will help you understand how to get the most out of your CourseStorm site.

What happens when I need support?

Our Customer Success Team is here for you, from figuring out a feature to talking over the terms of service. We’re proud to receive consistently high ratings for customer satisfaction. We offer unlimited support on all our plans. Just reach out!

Live support is available via our Support Request Form between 9am and 5pm Eastern, Monday through Friday. We also have a robust Help Library for 24/7 on-demand access at help.coursestorm.com. Our Help Library includes video walk-throughs, feature guides, and tips & tricks to get the most out of CourseStorm.

Does CourseStorm support online classes?

Yes! Many CourseStorm customers offer eLearning content. You can add any class, online or in-person, to a CourseStorm catalog. Online course access information can be provided to registered students using roster emails and automatic reminders to provide access information. And we’re continuing to add integrations specially designed to optimize compatibility with online classes.

Can I import my student data into CourseStorm?

Yes, student profile information can be imported with the assistance of our Customer Success Team. One of our onboarding specialists will be happy to provide a custom quote based on the complexity of the import. To learn more, please contact us.

Will CourseStorm work with my existing website or management system?

No problem. CourseStorm integrates beautifully with WordPress and our WordPress plugin lets you display your catalog in just a few clicks. Not using WordPress? Our customizable widget lets you show a list of classes with registration buttons right on your site.

We have options for larger programs with student management systems or other advanced needs, too. Using our integration services and APIs, we can import your catalog with a push of a button, sync your student records with the latest from your online registrations, display your classes right on your website, and much more.

How secure is CourseStorm?

We’re very proud of our security measures. CourseStorm offers a HIPAA and PCI compliant registration program. Our servers are located in state-of-the-art data centers surrounded by multi-tiered security systems. All communication in and out of your catalog site is covered with 256-bit SHA-2 encryption. And we maintain nightly and weekly backups of all data to ensure strict data integrity. Our team has been developing e-commerce software for more than 20 years, building the well-earned trust of our customers.

Does CourseStorm work for kids’ classes?

Definitely!  Not only is it easy to designate classes for children, but the registration process could not be simpler for parents of multiple children to manage their kids’ classes using our friends and family registration feature. And our shopping cart feature lets parents register their kids for more than one class all at once.

Can I import my existing data?

You can! CourseStorm’s built-in class importer allows you to bring in your current class, instructor, and location information in one fell swoop—no need to hand-enter all of your info one-by-one. For larger programs, we also offer integration services allowing CourseStorm to talk directly to your internal systems so importing is as simple as it can be.

Can CourseStorm share data with my other systems?

CourseStorm has been integrated with many commonly used systems, and multiple methods may be used to export CourseStorm data. CourseStorm offers many available integrations, including Zapier integrations and even custom integrations via API. Our REST API provides secure access to all of your data, including courses, students, categories, locations, and instructors.

When are deposits made to my account?

We have flexible monthly, weekly, and even daily deposit options available depending on your plan. This ensures you get your registration fees quickly and securely. When we deposit funds, we’ll also automatically notify you and any designated staff by email with the amount of the payout and all the details.

I run a small program with only a handful of staff. Is CourseStorm a good fit for us?

It is! Our "Starter" plan is great for programs that are just getting started with features to help you set up your class catalog and simplify registration. If your education program is doing $25,000/year or more in revenue, we recommend one of our more advanced plans to support additional scale—but our team is here to help you determine which plan is right for your needs. Our platform is designed to make it impossibly simple to manage your online catalog so that your small staff can spend more time helping students and less time with red tape.
