Two Features to Streamline Online Learning
We recently announced we’d be helping CourseStorm customers more deeply integrate with online classes. As many of you are turning to new ways to accommodate your students, we are prioritizing CourseStorm feature updates that can make the biggest impact for you.
To that end, today we’re announcing two new features — both designed to make running online classes easier: customizable receipt emails and file attachments.
Customizable Receipt Emails
One of the most-requested features in CourseStorm is the ability to add class-specific information in the receipt emails that customers receive after they place a registration. That’s especially useful for online classes!
For example, using a customized receipt, you can automatically include a link to your online class or video conference for each registration that comes in. The same is true if you’d like to send a materials list or other important information.
Better yet, if your program has class reminder emails enabled, we’re pleased to announce that you can customize those as well!
Here’s an example of how this customization appears for your students:
File Attachments
File attachments allow for the easy upload of materials your students will need. Anything to help your students get started —a welcome packet, participation waiver, scholarship form, your refund policy —can up be uploaded for easy access. No need to fuss with online storage and making sure everyone can access it. Just upload it to CourseStorm!
For those running online classes, attachments allow you to provide a class roster with materials and reading lists, notes from class discussions, and even post-class followups (like dance routine notes, a PDF of sheet music, or class discussion transcript).
Our new attachments feature makes including files in CourseStorm easy. You can add files anywhere you can add formatting to text: class descriptions in your catalog, marketing emails, and even the new customizable class receipt emails!
To add a file, simply click the paperclip icon and upload your file. We’ll include a link to it right in the editor so that your customers can easily view or download your file.
