We are streamlining registration for online classes.

From the beginning, our mission at CourseStorm has been to streamline access to education. It’s what drives our entire company every day. It’s built-in to our pay-as-you-go business model, the smooth design of our software, and the deliberate decision to focus on lifelong learning. In short, it’s in our DNA.

And we’re confident that the customers we’ve served across the US would agree we’ve done an excellent job. On average, CourseStorm customers have seen a 12% increase in registrations year-over-year as we continually add new ways to help them reach more learners.

In our continual effort to expand access to education, today we are announcing yet another way to help programs reach more learners: deeper integration with online classes.

You see, while many of our customers provide in-person classes to their students, there’s always been a portion who offer online education as well. Some programs have chosen to supplement their offerings with online classes from content providers like ed2go, Tooling U, BlackRocket, UGotClass, or MindEdge, while others have been online from the start using learning management systems (LMS) like Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, or Sakai.

In the past few weeks, with the COVID-19 health crisis enveloping the world, interest in online education has exploded. Many programs that relied heavily on in-person instruction are turning to new ways to accommodate their students, whether through remote teaching or by using online turnkey class content. We know that this trend will not wane even as the immediate health crisis resolves. Online, lifelong learning is here to stay.

As we work to help these organizations transition, our team is accelerating our work on a first-class, unified registration experience for these online classes to replace the disjointed one that exists today. By integrating directly with online class providers and LMS systems, we are streamlining the entire experience for students and growing enrollments in the process.

In the coming weeks, our team will be rolling out a series of updates and integrations designed to optimize our compatibility with online classes. If your program is interested in getting early access to these updates (whether you’re currently a CourseStorm customer or not), please let us know by filling out the interest form linked below.

We look forward to helping you continually adapt, streamline, and strengthen your education programs.

Thank you!
